ForestLand Foundation-SL is creating meaningful and measurable change by addressing some of Sierra Leone’s most urgent social, health, environmental, and governance challenges. Through community-led engagement, policy advocacy, and survivor-centered support services, our work strengthens local systems, empowers vulnerable populations, and promotes long-term resilience. Our impact is rooted in collaboration with traditional leaders, government institutions, civil society organizations, and community members. By combining awareness, capacity building, service delivery, and advocacy, we ensure that interventions do not end with training alone but translate into real behavioral change, protection, recovery, and opportunity. From combating substance abuse and supporting survivors of sexual violence to advancing climate-smart agriculture, youth engagement, gender equality, and human rights education, our programs have reached thousands of individuals across Bo District and beyond, leaving communities better informed, better protected, and better equipped for sustainable development.
